We are looking for a Graphic Designer to join our Hendersonville, Tennessee based design studio.  This is a full-time position, offering a great benefit package.  Seize this exciting opportunity to be a part of a growing marketing and design firm.  Candidates should demonstrate a strong focus in business-to-business marketing with at least 5 years of experience in a production setting and expect to be an immediate asset while further developing your skills for both print and web projects.  A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Graphic Design is much preferred.

graphic designer candidates would:

  • Exhibit a solid understanding of design fundamentals including color theory, typography, composition, photo retouching, as well as branding and logotype skills
  • Be highly proficient in QuarkXpress 7.3, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
  • Have experience in collecting files for print production and coordinating the print process with various file types and print media
  • Also have a strong working knowledge in the following programs: MS PowerPoint, Adobe Indesign, Macromedia Studio all in a Mac environment
  • Exhibit ability to execute design tasks in alignment with style guides and established brand standards
  • Find it very helpful to have understanding of optimization and production of art assets for the web
  • Also find it helpful to have knowledge in standard design software tools: Adobe CS3, Mac Environment, Microsoft Office and above-beginner level knowledge of Flash, as well as at least an entry level understanding of HTML, CSS and basic Standards-Based web coding principles
  • Be independent, proactive and able to perform under very tight schedules
  • Work well with design direction and be comfortable within team environment
  • Demonstrate attention to detail, have a solution-oriented attitude and be a great team player
